Jeremy is Assistant Center Director for Research Informatics at the Moffitt Cancer Center. In this role, he leads strategy and implementation to (1) accelerate data-driven cancer research at Moffitt through the development of high-quality datasets and computational infrastructure and (2) transition successful research computational approaches to patient point of care. Jeremy is also an Associate Faculty Member in the Department of Machine Learning and the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Moffitt. He has leadership roles in several national and international projects where we are developing large molecular datasets and computational methods for biomedical data science. He is an expert in computational medicine with more than 20 years of experience, and he has made contributions in the areas of integrated databases with linked molecular and clinical datasets, machine learning applications to biomedicine, novel omics and image analysis methods for both bulk and single-cell datasets, quantitative approaches for personalized oncology, and high-performance computational infrastructure for biomedicine.
